Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hydraulic Systems Design Engineer to join our specialized R&D team in Buchanan. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced hydraulic systems for heavy-duty industrial machinery using CAD software.
- Perform complex fluid flow simulations and pressure drop calculations to optimize system efficiency.
- Select appropriate hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders, and reservoirs.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Conduct rigorous field testing and troubleshooting of hydraulic prototypes in various terrains.
- Develop technical documentation, including schematics, parts lists, and maintenance manuals.
- Analyze system failures and implement design improvements to enhance machine longevity.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA).
- Deep technical knowledge of hydraulic circuit theory and component selection.
- Strong analytical and mathematical modeling capabilities.
- Ability to interpret complex technical blueprints and engineering schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in high-pressure industrial environments.
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory. Advanced certification in hydraulic design or specialized fluid power training is highly preferred.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hydraulic system design, preferably within the heavy machinery or mining equipment sector. Proven experience in simulation software and field testing is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 SSP to 750,000 SSP, depending on experience, technical expertise, and performance during the probationary period.
