Job Overview
This role is part of Cisco’s mission to drive digital transformation in Liberian urban centers. The Smart City Technology Integrator will design, implement, and manage technology solutions that integrate IoT, AI, and data analytics to optimize city operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Liberia’s urban development while working with a globally recognized tech leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy smart city infrastructure solutions (e.g., intelligent lighting, traffic management, public safety systems)
- Collaborate with municipal authorities, urban planners, and technology partners to align solutions with city goals
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for technology integration projects
- Provide technical training and support to local stakeholders
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements for scalability and efficiency
Required Skills
- Proven experience with IoT platforms and smart infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of urban planning principles and technology integration
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Certification in Cisco networking or urban technology solutions (preferred)
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Urban Planning, or related field
- Master’s Degree in Smart City Technology or Urban Informatics (preferred)
Experience
- 3-5 years in urban technology, smart infrastructure, or related fields
- Experience working in African urban environments (preferred)
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
