Job Overview

The Senior Curriculum Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive educational programs within the region. This position involves working closely with local educators, government officials, and community leaders to create curricula that are inclusive, modern, and pedagogically sound. You will be responsible for ensuring that all educational materials align with international standards while remaining culturally relevant to the local context. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of instructional design and a passion for educational equity. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive K-12 curricula that integrate digital literacy and critical thinking skills.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify gaps in current educational frameworks.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create standardized assessment tools for students.
• Lead workshops for local teachers to facilitate the effective implementation of new pedagogical strategies.

Education

Experience

A minimum of seven years of professional experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational administration is required. Proven experience working with international NGOs or intergovernmental organizations in a developing country context is a significant advantage. You should have a track record of successfully managing large-scale educational projects from conception to completion.

Salary
