Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agronomy Research Specialist to lead our field research initiatives in the Lofa region. This role is critical to our mission of developing high-performance crop varieties tailored to the specific soil and climatic conditions of Liberia. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute large-scale field trials to evaluate crop performance and resistance to local pests and diseases.
- Analyze complex datasets from field trials to determine the efficacy of new agricultural products.
- Collaborate with local agricultural extension services to implement best practices among smallholder farmers.
- Monitor environmental impacts of new seed varieties and crop protection treatments.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports for the global R&D headquarters.
- Supervise field technicians and seasonal research assistants during planting and harvesting cycles.

Education
