Job Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic liaison between the operational teams at Harbel Port and the corporate HR department. Reporting to the Regional HR Director, the HRBP will provide expert guidance on talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development. This role is essential for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring compliance with Liberian labor laws, and promoting a high‑performance culture. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational leaders to understand business goals and translate them into effective HR strategies.
  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment for critical positions, ensuring a diverse and qualified talent pool.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance appraisal, feedback, and development planning.
  • Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend resolutions in line with local regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs focused on leadership, compliance, and employee wellbeing.
  • Analyze HR metrics and produce reports to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, Liberian labor law, and international best practices.

Education

Experience

Candidates must have 5‑7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within logistics, transportation, or a similarly complex operational setting. Prior exposure to multinational corporations and experience working in West Africa will be considered an advantage.

Salary

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from SSP 1,500,000 to SSP 2,500,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package are also included.
