Job Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a strategic liaison between the IRC’s program teams in Cestos and the central HR function. This role is responsible for aligning human capital strategies with operational objectives, ensuring that the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with program managers to understand staffing needs and develop workforce plans that support project goals.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
  • Lead recruitment initiatives, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of qualified candidates.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to recommend data‑driven improvements in retention and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Liberian labor laws, IRC policies, and donor requirements.
  • Facilitate training and development programs that build capacity within the Cestos office.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration, ensuring equity and transparency.

Education

Experience

Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the nonprofit or humanitarian sector, with at least two years in a business partnering capacity. Experience working in Liberia or similar emerging markets is an advantage.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary reviews are conducted annually.
