Job Overview
As an EdTech Curriculum Developer, you will design and implement technology-integrated educational programs tailored to Liberia’s national standards. This role requires collaboration with educators, technologists, and policymakers to create engaging, culturally relevant, and scalable learning solutions. The position is based in Zwedru, a growing hub for educational innovation in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop interactive digital curricula aligned with Liberia’s Ministry of Education guidelines
- Integrate AI-driven learning tools and adaptive technologies into course materials
- Conduct workshops for teachers on EdTech platform usage and pedagogical strategies
- Evaluate curriculum effectiveness through data analytics and user feedback
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to ensure cultural relevance and accessibility
Required Skills
- Expertise in instructional design and e-learning development
- Proficiency in LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, or similar)
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in education
- Strong cross-cultural communication and project management skills
- Fluency in both English and Liberian languages (Kpelle preferred)
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field
- Master’s Degree in Educational Technology or EdTech specialization (preferred)
Experience
- 3-5 years in educational technology, curriculum development, or digital learning
- Proven experience in designing AI-enhanced learning solutions
- Previous work in Sub-Saharan Africa education systems (preferred)
Salary
2,500,000 – 3,500,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
