Job Overview
This role is part of our Liberia Jobs initiative to expand digital literacy across the country. The Digital Literacy Program Coordinator will lead the implementation of technology training programs in Klay, ensuring equitable access to digital skills development for students, educators, and local professionals. This position is a key part of our Career Opportunities in Liberia strategy to foster economic growth through education.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver digital literacy workshops tailored to community needs
- Collaborate with local schools and organizations to integrate technology into curricula
- Develop training materials and online resources for digital skill development
- Monitor program impact through data collection and reporting
- Coordinate with international partners to secure resources and funding
Required Skills
- Proven experience in educational program coordination
- Strong understanding of digital tools and platforms
- Excellent communication and community engagement skills
- Ability to work independently in remote locations
- Fluency in English and local languages preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, or related field. Postgraduate qualifications in Digital Education or Community Development are advantageous.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in educational program management, with a focus on technology integration. Prior experience in Liberia or West Africa is preferred.
Salary
2,500,000 – 3,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience.
