Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security threats.
  • Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies aligned with international standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve security incidents and minimize risks.
  • Provide training to staff on cybersecurity best practices and threat awareness.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Proficiency in network security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Snort).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and documentation.
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in enterprise environments.
  • Experience in Liberia or West African markets is a plus.

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
