Job Overview
The Credit Portfolio Manager will lead the management of a diversified loan portfolio, ensuring optimal risk‑adjusted returns while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Reporting to the Head of Credit, you will oversee credit underwriting, monitoring, and restructuring activities for corporate and SME clients. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end credit underwriting process for corporate and SME loan proposals.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying emerging risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Develop and update credit policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and market best practices.
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure tailored financing solutions that meet client needs while protecting the bank’s interests.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and presentations for senior management and the Credit Committee.
- Oversee credit risk assessments, including stress testing and scenario analysis.
- Mentor and coach junior credit analysts, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all internal audit requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in financial modeling.
- In‑depth knowledge of credit risk assessment, loan structuring, and portfolio management.

- Proficiency in banking software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in credit analysis, portfolio management, or related banking functions. Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a reputable financial institution is essential.
Salary
