Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR team in Monrovia, Liberia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to the country office, ensuring the effective management of human resources, and contributing to the achievement of our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with UNICEF’s global HR framework and Liberia country office priorities
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on HR-related matters, including recruitment, talent management, performance management, and staff development
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring that all positions are filled in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage the performance management system, including setting performance goals, conducting regular check-ins, and evaluating staff performance
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in an international organization or development agency
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in an international organization or development agency.

Salary

LRD 50,000 – 80,000 per month.
