Job Overview
The Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale renewable energy projects throughout Liberia. Reporting to the Regional Director, the incumbent will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects meet technical, financial, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for solar, wind, and hybrid energy installations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and local regulations.
- Lead cross‑functional teams including engineers, finance analysts, procurement specialists, and community liaison officers.
- Secure project financing, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets to achieve cost‑effective delivery.
- Oversee permitting processes, environmental impact assessments, and compliance with Liberian energy policies.
- Monitor project milestones, risk registers, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
- Foster strong relationships with government ministries, utility companies, and local NGOs to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies such as battery storage and smart grid solutions.

- Proven expertise in renewable energy project lifecycle management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and investment analysis.

Education

Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in renewable energy project management, with at least three (3) years in a senior leadership role overseeing multi‑million‑dollar projects. Experience working in West Africa, particularly in Liberia or neighboring countries, is preferred. Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 120,000 to SSP 180,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, pension contributions, and a comprehensive expatriate allowance for eligible candidates.
