Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Metallurgical Engineer to lead our mineral processing optimization initiatives at our Yekepa facility. This role is critical to our mission of maximizing ore grade recovery and ensuring the efficiency of our beneficiation plants. The successful candidate will oversee complex metallurgical testing, design process flowsheets, and implement advanced control strategies to enhance production yields. This position requires a deep understanding of iron ore beneficiation, including magnetic separation and flotation processes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize metallurgical testing programs to improve iron ore concentrate quality and quantity.
- Design and implement advanced process control systems to stabilize plant performance.
- Conduct detailed mass and water balance studies to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to minimize downtime in the processing circuit.
- Oversee the implementation of new metallurgical technologies and equipment upgrades.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
- Ensure all metallurgical processes comply with international environmental and safety standards.

- Advanced expertise in mineral processing and iron ore beneficiation techniques.

Education

Experience
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a large-scale mineral processing plant is required. Proven experience in iron ore beneficiation is highly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a history of successful process optimization and technical leadership.
Salary
