Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive radio network planning, including site selection, frequency allocation, and capacity forecasting.
• Analyze network performance data to identify optimization opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with RF engineers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely deployment of network assets.
• Develop detailed design documentation, cost estimates, and implementation schedules for network projects.
• Support the integration of emerging technologies such as 5G, LTE‑Advanced, and IoT solutions.
• Perform post‑implementation audits to verify network compliance with design specifications.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and competitive trends.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in RF planning tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet, Mentum).
• Excellent understanding of LTE, 4G, and emerging 5G network architectures.
• Ability to interpret and manipulate large data sets using Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Project management experience, including budgeting and timeline management.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in RF planning or network optimization are advantageous.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in telecom network planning, design, or optimization, preferably within a mobile operator environment. Experience with regulatory compliance and spectrum management in Liberia is a plus.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based incentives and statutory benefits.
