Job Overview

This Renewable Energy Project Coordinator role is a key position within SolarAid’s Liberia operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans for solar microgrid installations in Buchanan.
  • Coordinate with local stakeholders, including government agencies and community leaders, to secure project approvals.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality control standards.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new solar energy initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy or Sustainable Development is preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy project management, with a focus on solar energy. Experience working in rural or underserved communities is highly desirable.

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,000,000 LRD per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
