Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning, execution, and monitoring of solar energy projects in Buchanan.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders, government agencies, and community leaders to identify energy needs.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for solar infrastructure development.
  • Conduct technical assessments of solar energy systems and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare project reports and present findings to senior management and donors.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during project implementation.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in renewable energy project management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems and technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive project documentation.
  • Fluency in English and basic knowledge of local languages (e.g., Kpelle).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello).

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in renewable energy project coordination, preferably in Africa. Experience with solar energy initiatives is highly desirable.

Salary

2,500,000 – 3,500,000 LRD per annum, depending on experience.
