Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize mineral processing flowsheets for iron ore, bauxite, and other minerals.
• Conduct metallurgical testing and analysis to improve recovery rates and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with plant engineers to implement process improvements and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all processing activities.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in mineral processing engineering, with a focus on African mining environments.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., HSC Chemistry, ProCirc).
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating metallurgical data and optimizing processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to sustainable mining practices and environmental responsibility.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s Degree preferred but not required.

Experience

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
