Job Overview
This role supports Conservation International’s mission to safeguard marine biodiversity through field research, data analysis, and community engagement. The position is based in Tubmanburg, Liberia, and requires collaboration with regional stakeholders to implement conservation strategies aligned with global biodiversity goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys to assess marine biodiversity and ecosystem health
- Collect and analyze biological and environmental data using scientific methodologies
- Develop conservation plans in partnership with local fishing communities
- Prepare reports and presentations for donors, government agencies, and stakeholders
- Monitor the impact of climate change on coastal ecosystems
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of marine ecosystems and biodiversity conservation
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and ecological data analysis software
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Experience in West African coastal environments preferred
- Ability to work in remote field conditions
Education

Salary
