Job Overview
The Hydraulic Systems Maintenance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the operational integrity of our heavy machinery fleet. This position involves the advanced diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance of complex hydraulic circuits found in excavators, bulldozers, and loaders. As a key member of our technical team in Boffa, you will be responsible for minimizing downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our equipment through precision engineering and proactive troubleshooting. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of fluid power systems and the ability to work in demanding field environments. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostic testing on hydraulic pumps, motors, and control valves using specialized pressure and flow testing equipment.
- Execute complex repairs and replacements of hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and high-pressure lines.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure machine longevity and safety.
- Analyze system performance data to identify potential failures before they occur.
- Collaborate with the site engineering team to optimize machine performance for specific terrain and load requirements.

Education

Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy hydraulic systems within the mining or large-scale construction industries. Salary
