Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify potential security breaches or anomalies.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify weaknesses.
  • Lead incident response efforts to contain and mitigate security threats effectively.
  • Develop and implement security protocols and policies to strengthen the organizational defense.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure security is integrated into all system updates.
  • Generate detailed reports on security incidents and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in network security tools and SIEM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and other core networking protocols.
  • Expertise in identifying malware, phishing attempts, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary IT team.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a closely related field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or CISSP are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct experience in a cybersecurity operations center (SOC) or a similar security-focused IT role. Proven experience in incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management is essential for success in this position.

Salary

The offered salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP per month, depending on the candidate’s expertise and qualifications.
