Job Overview

The Community Health Outreach Coordinator will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of community‑based health initiatives in Voinjama and surrounding districts. Reporting to the Regional Health Manager, the coordinator will work closely with community health workers, local health facilities, and partner organizations to increase health service utilization, promote preventive health behaviors, and gather critical health data. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute community outreach strategies that align with national health priorities and PIH’s program objectives.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 15‑20 community health workers, ensuring high performance and adherence to protocols.
• Coordinate health education campaigns on topics such as malaria prevention, maternal health, nutrition, and vaccination.
• Collect, analyze, and report health indicators using PIH’s data management system to inform program adjustments.
• Facilitate regular meetings with local leaders, health facility staff, and partner NGOs to strengthen collaboration.
• Identify gaps in service delivery and propose evidence‑based solutions to improve access and quality.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for donors, the Ministry of Health, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with PIH’s ethical standards, safety guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective community engagement.
• Proficiency in data collection tools, Microsoft Office, and basic GIS mapping.

Education

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of three years of hands‑on experience in community health program implementation, preferably within West Africa. Prior experience supervising community health workers and collaborating with government health agencies is essential.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 800,000 to 1,200,000 Liberian dollars (SSP) per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary reviews are conducted annually.
