Job Overview

The Clinical Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing, analyzing, and reporting health data collected from IMC’s programs across Liberia. This position supports evidence‑based decision‑making, program evaluation, and reporting to donors and stakeholders. The analyst will work closely with field health workers, program managers, and the IT department to ensure data quality, integrity, and timely dissemination. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate clinical data from health facilities, mobile clinics, and community health workers.
  • Develop and maintain databases and dashboards using tools such as DHIS2, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Generate routine and ad‑hoc reports on health indicators, program performance, and donor requirements.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and provide feedback to field teams to improve data collection processes.
  • Collaborate with program managers to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection policies and ethical standards.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports, case studies, and publications for international donors.
  • Train and mentor field staff on data entry, management, and reporting best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Stata, Power BI).
  • Experience with health information systems, particularly DHIS2.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret complex health data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with Liberia’s health sector and reporting standards is an advantage.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Health Data Analyst) are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of three years of professional experience in clinical data management, health informatics, or a similar role within a humanitarian or public health setting. Experience working in Liberia or other West African countries is preferred.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 2,500,000 to 4,000,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary is paid in Liberian dollars and includes statutory benefits as per Liberian labor law.
