Job Overview
The Aviation Logistics Coordinator will manage end-to-end cargo operations, coordinate with airport authorities, and optimize flight schedules to meet Liberia’s growing demand for air freight services. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cargo loading/unloading operations at Monrovia Roberts International Airport
- Coordinate with customs and airport authorities for timely clearance of shipments
- Monitor aircraft maintenance schedules and logistics fleet performance
- Develop and implement cost-effective supply chain solutions for perishable and high-value cargo
- Ensure compliance with IATA and FAA safety regulations
- Collaborate with regional partners for cross-border aviation logistics
Required Skills
- Proficiency in aviation logistics software (e.g., CargoWise)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Problem-solving in high-pressure environments
- Knowledge of West African aviation regulations
- Bilingual (English and French preferred)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Aviation Management, or related field
- Certification in Aviation Logistics (optional but advantageous)
Experience
- 3-5 years in aviation logistics or supply chain management
- Experience in cargo operations or air freight coordination
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
