Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maritime Logistics Coordinator to join our growing operations team in Buchanan. This role is pivotal in managing complex shipping schedules, coordinating vessel arrivals, and ensuring that all maritime documentation complies with both international and local Liberian regulations. The successful candidate will act as a primary liaison between port authorities, vessel masters, and inland transport providers to ensure the timely and efficient movement of cargo. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate complex maritime logistics operations to ensure timely vessel turnaround and cargo discharge.
- Manage and verify all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Manifests, and Certificates of Origin.
- Liaise with the Liberian Maritime Authority and local port officials to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Optimize vessel scheduling and berth allocation to minimize port congestion and demurrage costs.
- Monitor cargo status and provide real-time updates to international stakeholders and clients.
- Analyze logistics data to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with inland trucking and rail providers to ensure seamless multimodal transport transitions.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in maritime logistics software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and international maritime law.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with diverse international stakeholders.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CILT or specialized maritime diplomas are highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of direct experience in maritime logistics or port operations, preferably within a large-scale international shipping firm. Proven experience in the West African maritime sector is a significant advantage.
Salary
