Job Overview

The Agricultural Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing the end‑to‑end supply chain for Cargill’s agricultural products in Liberia. This position involves analyzing data, forecasting demand, coordinating with farmers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient movement of goods from farm to market. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop demand forecasts and inventory plans in collaboration with the procurement and sales teams.
  • Coordinate with local farmers, transport providers, and warehouses to ensure timely delivery of inputs and outputs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead time, fill rate, and cost per unit, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by tracking carbon footprint and promoting eco‑friendly logistics practices.
  • Prepare and present analytical insights to cross‑functional teams to drive data‑driven decision making.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or similar data tools.
  • Knowledge of agricultural supply chain processes and logistics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with ERP or supply chain management software is a plus.

Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in agricultural supply chain analysis, logistics coordination, or related roles. Experience working in West Africa or emerging markets is highly valued.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the total rewards.
