Job Overview
The Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering Officer will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of Citibank’s AML program in Cavalla. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and enforce AML policies, procedures, and controls in line with Liberian banking regulations and FATF standards.
- Conduct thorough customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of high‑risk accounts.
- Analyze transaction data using advanced monitoring systems to detect suspicious activity and file SARs (Suspicious Activity Reports) promptly.
- Provide regular training and awareness sessions for staff on AML best practices and regulatory changes.
- Coordinate with the regional compliance team and external regulators during examinations and audits.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Lead investigations into potential money‑laundering incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Stay current on emerging financial crime trends, sanctions regimes, and legislative updates affecting the banking sector.
Required Skills
- Deep knowledge of AML regulations, sanctions, and counter‑terrorist financing frameworks.
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in AML monitoring software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and presenting findings.

Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Experience

Salary
