Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) platforms to detect and respond to incidents in real time.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests on network devices, servers, and applications.
  • Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, ensuring swift containment and remediation.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement security controls aligned with industry best practices.
  • Analyze threat intelligence feeds and produce actionable reports for senior leadership.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus, OpenVAS, or Qualys.
  • Understanding of cyber threat frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

Education
