Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor site‑specific safety plans, procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and risk analyses to identify potential issues before they arise.
• Lead daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for all site personnel, ensuring clear communication of safety expectations.
• Coordinate with local regulatory bodies to secure permits, report incidents, and ensure full compliance with Liberian occupational health and safety laws.
• Investigate accidents, near‑misses, and unsafe conditions, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident logs, inspection reports, and training records.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety considerations into project schedules and budgets.
• Promote a proactive safety culture by recognizing safe behaviors and encouraging continuous improvement.
