Job Overview
The Supply Chain Manager will lead the end‑to‑end procurement, logistics, and inventory functions for CHEC’s construction activities in the Gbarnga region. Reporting to the Project Director, the incumbent will develop and execute supply chain strategies that ensure timely delivery of materials, cost‑effective sourcing, and compliance with local regulations and international best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain plans aligned with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order issuance.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring efficient transportation of materials to and from Gbarnga construction sites.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through accurate forecasting, stock rotation, and warehouse management.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular audits, and enforce compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks such as delays, price volatility, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with finance to track expenditures, analyze cost variances, and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement opportunities.
- Lead a local supply chain team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.

Education

Salary
