Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the QA department at our Tubmanburg bottling plant, ensuring compliance with international food safety standards, local regulations, and Coca‑Cola’s internal quality protocols. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 22000, HACCP, and Coca‑Cola Global Food Safety standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are documented, tracked, and resolved promptly.
  • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) throughout production, conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished goods.
  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to troubleshoot quality issues and drive root‑cause analysis.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports, trend analyses, and performance dashboards for senior management.
  • Train and mentor QA staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with Liberian food safety regulations and maintain up‑to‑date documentation for regulatory submissions.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, GFSI).
  • Proven experience in leading QA teams within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality software (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or HACCP Practitioner are highly desirable.

Experience

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the food and beverage sector, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 4,500,000 Liberian Dollars (SSP) annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
