Job Overview
This role is part of UNDP’s strategic initiative to integrate digital tools into Liberia’s public governance systems. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital governance strategies in alignment with Liberia’s National Development Plan.
- Lead the design of e-governance platforms for public service delivery, including digital licensing, tax collection, and citizen feedback systems.
- Conduct stakeholder consultations with ministries, civil society, and private sector partners to identify digital transformation needs.
- Provide technical guidance on cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital ethics in public administration.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of digital governance initiatives on administrative efficiency and public trust.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in digital governance frameworks and public sector innovation.
- Strong understanding of Liberian public administration structures and challenges.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Experience with digital platform development (e.g., cloud computing, API integration).
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Information Technology, Political Science, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree or professional certification in Digital Governance or Public Policy is an asset.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in public sector digital transformation or international development projects.
- Experience working in Liberia or other West African countries is preferred.
Salary
2,000,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
