Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute large-scale telecommunications infrastructure projects, including 4G/5G network rollouts and fiber-optic cable installations.
- Collaborate with local authorities to secure permits and ensure compliance with national telecommunications regulations.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to deliver initiatives within scope and on schedule.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for project challenges, including environmental or logistical constraints.
- Train local technicians and engineers on advanced telecommunications technologies and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, or Scrum certified preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications systems, including radio frequency planning and network optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills for engaging with government bodies and community leaders.
- Fluency in data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel) for performance monitoring and reporting.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Liberian languages (e.g., Kpelle, Bassa) is an asset.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP, Microsoft Azure) are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of 3–5 years managing telecommunications projects in Africa, with a focus on rural connectivity initiatives. Experience in Liberia or neighboring West African countries is preferred.
Salary
2,500,000 – 3,500,000 Liberian Dollars (LD) per month, commensurate with experience and project impact.
