Job Overview
The Supply Chain Sustainability Analyst will play a pivotal role in integrating sustainability principles across Unilever’s end‑to‑end supply chain in Liberia. Reporting to the Regional Sustainability Manager, you will assess carbon footprints, evaluate supplier compliance, and develop strategies to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency. You will collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and marketing teams to embed sustainable practices into product design, sourcing decisions, and distribution networks. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct lifecycle assessments of key product categories to identify carbon hotspots and recommend mitigation actions.
- Monitor supplier sustainability performance, ensuring adherence to Unilever’s Responsible Sourcing Policy.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that track waste reduction, water usage, and energy consumption across the supply chain.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design eco‑friendly packaging solutions and promote circular economy initiatives.
- Support the preparation of sustainability reports for internal stakeholders and external certifications.
- Lead training workshops for procurement and logistics staff on sustainable sourcing and green logistics practices.
- Identify cost‑effective opportunities for renewable energy integration at the Bensonville manufacturing site.
- Stay abreast of local and international regulations related to environmental compliance and advise the business on necessary adaptations.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of sustainability frameworks such as GRI, CDP, and the UN SDGs.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data to non‑technical audiences.
- Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics.

Education
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as CSCP, CIPS, or a sustainability credential (e.g., LEED, GRI) are considered an advantage.
Experience
