Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast demand, transit times, and capacity utilization across maritime, road, and rail corridors.
• Analyze end‑to‑end supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, cost‑saving opportunities, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with regional managers to design routing strategies that align with client service level agreements.
• Prepare detailed performance dashboards and reports for senior leadership, highlighting key metrics such as on‑time delivery, inventory turnover, and carbon footprint.
• Support the implementation of digital tools, including transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring data integrity and user adoption.
• Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments to mitigate disruptions caused by weather, infrastructure constraints, or regulatory changes.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts and operations staff on analytical best practices.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Knowledge of logistics concepts, freight forwarding processes, and supply chain best practices.
• Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Candidates with certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or a Master’s degree will be given preference.

Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of three to five years of professional experience in supply chain analysis, logistics planning, or a similar role within a multinational environment. Experience with African logistics networks or emerging markets is highly valued.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 4,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and allowances are also part of the total rewards structure.
