Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle for structural engineering works, from concept design through construction completion.
- Develop and review detailed structural designs, calculations, and specifications in compliance with local codes and international standards.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of all project components.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring adherence to milestones and cost targets.
- Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors, maintaining clear communication and fostering strong relationships.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
- Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Mentor junior engineers and support the development of local talent through knowledge transfer and training initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
- Strong understanding of international and Liberian building codes, standards, and best practices.

Education

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management capacity on large‑scale infrastructure projects. Experience working in West Africa or similar emerging markets is preferred.
