Job Overview
This role focuses on designing, analyzing, and optimizing smart grid systems to enhance energy efficiency and reliability in Liberia. The position is based in Goff Town and will work closely with local utilities and international partners to implement cutting-edge energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical analysis of smart grid performance data
- Develop system optimization strategies for energy distribution networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on grid modernization projects
- Implement cybersecurity protocols for energy infrastructure
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
Required Skills
- Expertise in smart grid technologies and energy management systems
- Proficiency in SCADA systems and grid simulation software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Knowledge of Liberian energy sector regulations
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s) in Smart Grid Technology or Energy Engineering are a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in energy systems analysis, preferably with smart grid implementations in emerging markets. Experience with renewable energy integration is advantageous.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
