Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mining Equipment Technician to join our specialized maintenance team in Gbarzon. This role is critical to ensuring the operational efficiency and longevity of our heavy-duty mining fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for the advanced diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance of large-scale earthmoving and mining machinery. Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex diagnostic tests on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems of heavy mining equipment.
- Execute advanced repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and heavy-duty drivetrains.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Supervise junior technicians and provide technical guidance on complex troubleshooting tasks.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with strict international safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of all repairs, parts usage, and equipment health metrics.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure spare parts availability for critical repairs.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting complex hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Expertise in using computerized diagnostic tools and heavy machinery telemetry systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure in remote environments.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Technology, or a closely related field is required. Professional certifications in diesel engine repair or hydraulic systems are highly preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of large-scale mining or construction equipment is essential. Proven experience in a senior or lead technician role within a heavy industrial setting is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of working safely in high-risk environments.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical certifications. This is a competitive package designed to attract the best talent in the region.
