Job Overview

The Risk Management Analyst will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial and operational risks across the bank’s portfolio in Liberia. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for credit, market, operational, and liquidity exposures.
  • Develop and maintain risk rating models, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide senior management with actionable insights.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Basel III standards.
  • Collaborate with business lines to design risk mitigation strategies and ensure implementation of control measures.
  • Prepare periodic risk reports, including risk‑adjusted performance metrics, for the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies.
  • Support the development of stress‑testing scenarios and conduct scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts on the bank’s portfolio.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
  • In‑depth knowledge of banking risk concepts, Basel regulations, and local regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex risk findings to non‑technical stakeholders.

Education
