Job Overview
The Risk Assessment Analyst will join the Risk Management department to evaluate, quantify, and monitor insurance risks across AIG Liberia’s portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, the analyst will conduct data-driven analyses, develop risk models, and provide actionable insights to underwriting and claims teams. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance policies, underwriting files, and claims data to identify potential risk exposures.
- Develop and maintain quantitative risk models using statistical tools and actuarial techniques.
- Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and present findings to senior management and underwriting teams.
- Monitor emerging market trends, regulatory changes, and macro‑economic factors that could impact risk profiles.
- Collaborate with the actuarial department to refine pricing strategies based on risk analysis.
- Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies and recommend appropriate reinsurance solutions.

Education

Experience
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment, insurance underwriting, actuarial analysis, or a similar field. Experience within the African insurance market or exposure to emerging economies will be highly valued.
Salary
AIG Liberia offers a competitive salary range of SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 3,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and annual salary reviews are part of the compensation package.
