Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Project Engineer will lead the planning, design, and execution of solar and wind projects throughout Liberia, with a primary focus on the coastal region surrounding Buchanan. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering designs for solar photovoltaic and wind turbine installations.
• Conduct site assessments, resource analyses, and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate with local utilities, government agencies, and community leaders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Monitor project performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to structure project financing and contractual agreements.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, especially solar PV and wind power.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field is required. Advanced certifications in project management (PMP) or renewable energy (e.g., NABCEP) are highly desirable.

Experience

Salary
