Job Overview

Lead production operations for commercial print projects including books, newspapers, packaging, and promotional materials. Manage workflow from pre-press to final output while maintaining quality standards and production deadlines. This role requires technical expertise in modern printing equipment and strong leadership skills to supervise production staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily print production operations including press setup, color calibration, and quality control
• Manage production schedules to meet client deadlines and optimize equipment utilization
• Train and supervise production staff on safe equipment operation and best practices
• Monitor ink, paper, and consumable inventory levels
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards

Required Skills

• Expertise in offset and digital printing technologies
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and print workflow software
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting production issues
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Experience with print cost estimation and job costing

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Certification in Print Production Management preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in print production management
• Proven track record in commercial print environments
• Experience managing 10+ person production teams

Salary

• 1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month
