Job Overview
This role involves analyzing hydroelectric power systems to optimize energy generation efficiency and grid integration. The position offers opportunities to work on Liberia’s first large-scale hydroelectric project along the Cestos River, contributing to national energy security and climate resilience goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assessments of hydroelectric turbine performance
- Model energy output scenarios using HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS software
- Coordinate with civil engineers on dam maintenance schedules
- Prepare system optimization reports for stakeholders
- Monitor water flow rates and energy generation metrics
Required Skills
- Proficiency in energy system modeling software
- Strong analytical skills for performance data interpretation
- Knowledge of Liberian energy grid infrastructure
- Project management experience
- Excellent technical writing abilities
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Systems
- Master’s Degree preferred but not required
Experience

Salary
