Job Overview
The Guest Services Manager will lead the front‑office team, ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless, memorable stay. Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, the role combines operational oversight, staff development, and strategic service improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor front‑office staff, including receptionists, concierge, and bell‑hop teams.
- Develop and implement service protocols that align with Hilton brand standards and local cultural expectations.
- Monitor guest feedback, resolve complaints promptly, and initiate corrective actions to improve satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and security departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑control measures for the Guest Services department.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training programs for front‑office personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements specific to Liberia.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team‑building abilities with a focus on coaching and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret data and drive service improvements.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality guest experiences and upholding brand integrity.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Additional certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) or equivalent are advantageous.
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in hotel guest services, front‑office operations, or a comparable hospitality role. Prior experience managing a team in a multi‑property environment is highly desirable.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based incentives and annual bonuses are also part of the total rewards structure.
