Job Overview
As an E-Commerce Operations Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end operations of our digital commerce platform, ensuring seamless transactions, customer satisfaction, and strategic growth. This role is critical to expanding our footprint in Liberia’s emerging e-commerce sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the e-commerce platform, including inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve user experience, conversion rates, and customer retention.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and adjust operational strategies.
- Ensure compliance with digital commerce regulations and data privacy standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations or digital business management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel).
- Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of digital payment systems and logistics platforms.
- Fluency in English and local languages (e.g., Kpelle, Bassa) is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, E-Commerce, or related field.
- Advanced certifications in digital commerce or supply chain management are preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce operations, preferably in Africa or emerging markets.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and digital platforms.
Salary
2,000,000 – 3,000,000 SSP per year, commensurate with experience and performance.
