Job Overview

The Construction Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules for multiple construction sites in Liberia. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams, you will ensure that timelines are realistic, resources are allocated efficiently, and potential delays are identified early. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define critical path activities and milestones.
  • Monitor progress against the schedule, update forecasts, and generate variance reports.
  • Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to align material deliveries with schedule requirements.
  • Prepare and present schedule status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain schedule documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling software.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously.
  • Understanding of construction processes, critical path method, and resource leveling.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as PMP or PSP are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

Applicants must have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in construction scheduling for large‑scale infrastructure projects. Experience in West African construction environments and familiarity with local regulatory frameworks will be considered a strong asset.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of 2,500,000 to 4,000,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and allowances may be provided in line with company policy.
