The company is currently hiring a dedicated Cashier to manage front-desk customer transactions and provide quality service in its busy Congo Town outlet.
Job Purpose:
The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer orders, receiving payments, processing POS transactions, maintaining cash records, and ensuring that customers enjoy a fast, friendly, and organized service experience. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build careers in retail operations, hospitality, or food service administration.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will warmly receive customers, answer menu-related questions, and process daily food and beverage transactions accurately. Duties include handling cash, debit/credit card, Visa card, and digital payments, issuing receipts, managing refunds, and ensuring proper order entry into the POS system.
The Cashier will also balance the cash register, assist with opening and closing cash procedures, maintain cleanliness at the counter and front service area, promote company offers to customers, and work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely order delivery. Compliance with hygiene, food safety, and financial handling policies is also required.
Qualification and Experience Required:
Applicants should have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification. A university background in Accounting will be an added advantage. Previous cashier or customer service experience is beneficial but not compulsory, making this a suitable opening for entry-level job seekers.
