Job Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst will join IBM’s Zwedru office to design, develop, and maintain analytical solutions that enable clients to turn raw data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across various industries.
  • Design and implement data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes using industry‑standard tools.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or IBM Cognos.
  • Perform data quality assessments and ensure data integrity throughout the reporting lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and project managers to deliver end‑to‑end BI solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end‑users, enabling self‑service analytics.
  • Monitor performance of BI solutions and recommend optimizations.
  • Stay current with emerging BI technologies and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or IBM Cognos.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in data analytics or BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist) are advantageous.

Experience

Candidates should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience developing and delivering business intelligence solutions in a professional environment. Experience in the African market, particularly in Liberia, will be considered a strong asset.

Salary

IBM offers a competitive salary range of 2,500,000 to 4,000,000 Liberian SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and annual salary reviews are part of the compensation package.
