Key Responsibilities

• Direct all daily operations of the aquaculture site, including stocking, feeding, and harvesting schedules.
• Implement comprehensive fish health monitoring programs to prevent disease and reduce mortality rates.
• Manage the procurement and optimization of sustainable fish feed to improve Feed Conversion Ratios (FCR).
• Oversee the maintenance of cages, nets, and automated feeding systems to ensure zero escapes and maximum efficiency.
• Lead the environmental monitoring team to ensure compliance with Namibian maritime laws and international ASC/BAP standards.
• Develop and manage annual production budgets, forecasting biomass growth and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure the seamless transport of harvested products to processing plants.
• Mentor and train local staff in modern aquaculture techniques to enhance regional skill sets.

Required Skills

• Expertise in recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) and open-pen marine farming.
• Advanced knowledge of fish pathology, nutrition, and marine ecology.
