Key Responsibilities

  • Design and pilot agri-tech solutions such as soil sensors, drone-based crop monitoring, and mobile apps for market price tracking
  • Collaborate with local farmers to identify pain points and co-create technology-driven solutions
  • Conduct field trials to evaluate the impact of new technologies on productivity and sustainability
  • Develop training programs to educate farmers on using digital tools and data-driven decision-making
  • Partner with universities and research institutions to advance agri-tech innovation in Liberia
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders including government agencies and international donors

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in agricultural technology development or implementation
  • Strong understanding of Liberia’s agricultural ecosystem and challenges
  • Proficiency in digital tools like GIS mapping, IoT devices, and data analytics platforms

Education

Salary

1,200,000 – 1,800,000 LRD per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
