Key Responsibilities
- Design and pilot agri-tech solutions such as soil sensors, drone-based crop monitoring, and mobile apps for market price tracking
- Collaborate with local farmers to identify pain points and co-create technology-driven solutions
- Conduct field trials to evaluate the impact of new technologies on productivity and sustainability
- Develop training programs to educate farmers on using digital tools and data-driven decision-making
- Partner with universities and research institutions to advance agri-tech innovation in Liberia
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders including government agencies and international donors
Required Skills
- Proven experience in agricultural technology development or implementation
- Strong understanding of Liberia’s agricultural ecosystem and challenges
- Proficiency in digital tools like GIS mapping, IoT devices, and data analytics platforms
- Excellent project management and cross-cultural communication skills
- Ability to work in remote rural areas with limited infrastructure
- Fluency in both English and Liberian English (Kriol) is preferred
