Job Overview

The Sustainability Analyst will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives for BHP’s mining operations in Buchanan. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report ESG data in line with GRI, SASB, and local regulatory requirements.
• Support the preparation of sustainability reports, impact assessments, and stakeholder disclosures.
• Monitor environmental performance indicators, including emissions, water usage, and waste management.
• Engage with local communities, NGOs, and government agencies to address concerns and promote collaborative projects.
• Assist in developing and implementing mitigation strategies for identified sustainability risks.
• Provide training and guidance to operational staff on ESG best practices.
• Track progress against BHP’s sustainability targets and recommend corrective actions.

Education
